WHO
ARE
WE?

For over 80 years, Sutton Symphony Orchestra has brought together talented musicians, both amateur and professional, from across the local community to share their common desire for making orchestral music together.

Today, the orchestra is thriving: it combines a high musical standard with a welcoming and inclusive spirit. Our members come from a wide range of ages, professions and backgrounds, united by a love of great music and the challenge of performing it.

In recent years, Sutton Symphony Orchestra has earned a reputation for ambitious programming, regularly performing major symphonic works that lie beyond the reach of many amateur orchestras.

While we are proud of our rich history, we are equally focused on the future: continuing to grow, attract new musicians and audiences, and present concerts that are both artistically rewarding and accessible to all.

The orchestra is led by Annmarie McDade and conducted by Philip Aslangul. You can read more about them at the links below:

Whether you are a regular concert-goer, a musician who would like to join us, or discovering us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you to Sutton Symphony Orchestra.
